CCWC Celebrates Sold-Out London Symposium, Expands Global Footprint in Transformative Legal Leadership

NEW YORK, NY – June 25, 2025—CCWC® is proud to announce its June 23, 2025, International Symposium at London’s Savoy Hotel. The sold-out event underscores the organization’s rapid global expansion and cements its reputation as a leader in strategic legal education and career development.

Founded in 2004 by Laurie Robinson Haden with just ten members, CCWC has grown into a dynamic community of over 10,000 lawyers, judges, law students, and legal entrepreneurs across five continents. Under Haden’s vision, CCWC fills a critical gap by connecting and advancing attorneys in corporate legal environments who might otherwise navigate their careers in isolation.

This year’s sold-out London program delivered cutting-edge knowledge on the most pressing issues facing law firm and in-house counsel today, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Ethics: Balancing innovation with responsibility in legal practice
  • Cross-Border Transactions: Navigating complex deals amid shifting regulatory frameworks
  • Intellectual Property Enforcement: Protecting assets in a global marketplace
  • Data Protection & Privacy Trends: Preparing for emerging compliance challenges
  • Dispute Resolution & Governance: Best practices for risk management and corporate oversight

Presenters included Her Highness Olori Atuwatse III, Queen of the Warri Kingdom (Nigeria); Dr. Yvonne Thompson, President of the Association of Project Management; and Samallie Kiyingi, Global General Counsel for Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking at Standard Chartered Bank, among other distinguished experts.

“CCWC’s expansion is about more than growth—it’s about creating meaningful spaces for legal professionals to lead with purpose and strategy,” said Laurie Robinson Haden, Founder and CEO of CCWC. “We empower attorneys to build careers that not only succeed but shape the future of the legal industry.”

Haden’s leadership has driven pioneering research on career progression and the implementation of extensive strategy initiatives that have directly impacted thousands of legal professionals worldwide.

With Special Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2023, CCWC continues to amplify its mission of uplifting legal professionals and closing the legal access gap through education, empowerment, and strategic leadership.
