We are excited about the 2021 Corporate Counsel Women of Color Career Strategies Conference. Our 17th annual conference promises to be an exciting one. Corporate Counsel Women of Color is hosting this event at the JW Marriott Live in Los Angeles, California.

If you are attending our LA conference this year, you’re in for a real treat. We’ll have engaging speakers, delicious food and plenty of entertainment options. What’s more, you can connect with other women attorneys from a variety of law firms and corporations.

Things You Can Do At LA Live in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is an ideal destination for any occasion. The City of Angels offers an abundance of sunshine, good weather and activities. Here’s our pick of 5 fun places to visit at LA Live in Los Angeles.

<h3>1. The GRAMMY Museum</h3>

Winning a GRAMMY Award is the highest honor for musicians in the United States. The GRAMMY Museum celebrates our country’s rich musical history.  You’ll experience dozens of exhibits, musical artifacts and films. Previous programs include performances by Ringo Starr, Damian Marley, Nas, Herb Alpert, Annie Lennox, Smokey Robinson and more.

2. Staples Center

The Staples Center is home to the Los Angeles Lakers (2020 NBA Champions), Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Kings and the Los Angeles Clippers. This 20,000-seat arena hosts a variety of entertainment events including figure skating, concerts and boxing. It is a state-of-the-art building with a stunning architectural design. Be sure to take plenty of pictures of the Staples Center when you attend the conference next year.

3. Shaquille’s

Shaquille’s is in the heart of LA Live. This restaurant offers a casual upscale dining experience that features southern cuisine. The menu includes Buffalo chicken dip, fried green tomatoes, Kobe burger, Shaq burger, corn pudding, buttermilk biscuit stuffing and fried chicken. For dessert, you can have banana pudding, pecan pie tart, chocolate cake, vanilla cheesecake or a key lime tartlet. Bring a hearty appetite when you visit Shaquille’s.

4. Xbox Plaza

The Xbox Plaza is an open area in LA Live’s entertainment district. It features live performances, movie premieres, red carpet events, picnics and music festivals. Xbox Plaza offers more than 20,000 square feet of LED signs that will capture your attention.

5. Lucky Strike

If you’re into upscale bowling, Lucky Strike is the place for you. This bowling lounge features 18 lanes, luxe suites and a theater surround-sound system. You’ll enjoy a sleek atmosphere, plush seating, billiards and cozy dining. What’s a bowling outing without delicious foods? Menu options include nachos, quesadillas, salads, boneless bites, pizzas, burgers and desserts. Plan to dress to impress during your visit. After 8 p.m., Lucky Strike strictly enforces a dress code.
